RED EARTH combines EARTH ART WORKS by Ekkeland Götze and the composition REDLANDS by Klaus Hinrich Stahmer to an audiovisual composition.
The EARTH ART WORKS originates from different projects from all continents of the EARTH.
The walk across the GLOBE begins in Africa with ■ LAPALALA, ■ ZULU, ■ WATERHOLES and ■ SINAI.
From Asia there are pictures of Tibetan ■ KAILAS and ■ RICE from Japan.
The journey continues to New Zealand and Australia with pictures from the projects ■ RUAUMOKO and ■ SONGLINES.
America will be presented with ■ AMAZONAS, ■ RARAMURI (Mexico) and
■ GO WEST (USA).
The European works originate from the projects ■ BERLIN WALL - DEATH STRIP, ■ VÆRØY, ■ ATLANTIS (Santorini), ■ THE ALPES, ■ ICEFIRE (Iceland), ■ SHOA, ■ PIROSMANI (Georgia) and ■ EUROPE (Crete).
RED EARTH was created in 2012 in the context of the symposium ■ BodenLeben.
